Mason, Sr., and sister, Rachel Mason and nephew, Antoine of Calif.  Also, his Uncle and Aunt, David & Ronda Scanlan, and cousin Lacey, all of OKC.  His close friends, Wesley, Zach, Brandi, Rocky, Amber and Lance and a host of family and friends.

Donations may be made in memory of David to The Urantia Book Society of Oklahoma, 5908 Burnham Pl., Oklahoma City, OK 73132 or the charity of your choice.

The early childhood of Jesus

We finished up on Paper 122 Birth and infancy of Jesus and we started reading Paper 123 The early childhood of Jesus. What a delightful child he must have been. There were eight hardy souls in attendence. We hope to see you here next week.

The First Wed night study group held at Unity Church Heritage House

The first study group meeting was held at Unity Church Heritage House Wed Feb 25th. In attendance were stalwart Urantia Book students Cabot, Jill and Levon Eudaley, Veldon and Charlene Morrow and Michael Challis.

We started with Paper 121 The Times of Michael's Bestowal and had an excellent study. We ended the meeting with a group recitation of “The Believers’s Prayer” 1 and finished with wonderful chocolate chip cookies provided by Jill Eudaley. After our meeting we were joined by several Unity Church members who were attending other meetings at the church. They expressed curiosity and interest.

It is a lovely venue and we would welcome your support in getting this fledgling study group off to a good start. Please make plans to attend when you can and support our effort at broadening our approach to our community.

1"Our Father who is in heaven,
Hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come; your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our bread for tomorrow;
Refresh our souls with the water of life.
And forgive us every one our debts
As we also have forgiven our debtors.
Save us in temptation, deliver us from evil,
And increasingly make us perfect like yourself.
"

(The Urantia Book, Paper 144, section 3, paragraph 3)
