We had a few out sick tonight as we finished up Paper 165 with the "Answer to Peter's Question". and started in on the "Last Visit to Northern Perea", where Jesus reprimanded some of the Pharisees and threw lawyers pretty far under the bus. Much discussion ensued, and we finished with wonderous (non-nut) brownies.

Jean Conley took over as the moderator and did a topical study about the Fruits of the Spirit.  She had her mother intersperse Parallels  from the bibleabout similar topics.  10 of us were definitely spiritually edified by such ruminations.  The fruits are the substance of the Supreme.  His growth depends onour spiritual development of these fruits.

Jean almost finished, so we talked her into doing another week of study on this intriguing topic.  Thanks Jean.

We had a nice group at the meeting, with a first time attender. We started out in the Perean Mission with the Sermon on the Good Shepherd, and continued through until Jesus took a nap after all those questions on wealth. We enjoyed some fellowship and chocolate cookies afterwards.
